Camp Jitterbug has an incredible line-up for this year's evening events. Not only is CJ known is one of the top educational Lindy Hop events in the world, it is known for it's high energy, fun filled evening events. Featuring amazing live music every night, spacious dance floors with plenty of room to dance and an event that draws some of the best dancers from all around the world, CJ is the mecca of social dancing.

Because of its increase in popularity over the past 8 years, CJ's only set back was not enough room...this year, we have been fortunate to find wonderful, 14,000 sq foot ballrooms to hold all of the evening dances!! We are so excited to announce that there will be plenty of room for everyone!

Get ready for a weekend you will never forget...it just keeps getting better folks.

During registration, the University of Washington Swing Kids are hosting a swing jam outside in Red Square. Enjoy the beautiful views of Mount Rainier while dancing outside at the UW campus. Registration & Check In is located at the Kane Hall foyer located on Red Square so you can enjoy the music and friends while you are waiting and then dance after you have checked in.

Please arrive as early as possible at the Registration at Check In located in the foyer of Kane Hall on the University of Washington campus. You will get your registration packet, Jump Session ticket/s, competition numbers and wristbands at registration. If you cannot make registration on Friday, then please arrive at the Knights of Columbus workshop venue at 10:00am on Saturday morning. Remember, your wristband gets you into all evening dances, so it is important that you check in!

The Jump Session Show is definitely the highlight of the weekend. We kick off the weekend with a show dedicated to Jazz Dance that features the top dancers from around the world. Half of all proceeds benefit Campfire USA Snohomish. 100% of the donated money goes towards swing and jazz dance programming for youth. The show has sold out every year, so purchase your ticket early!

Located on the UW campus, the HUB Ballroom is just a couple of buildings down from Kane Hall. So, after the Jump Session Show, walk over to the HUB for a fun-filled evening of dancing. The HUB Ballroom is a very large space with a fabulous dance floor. Enjoy watching the Jack & Jill prelims (or be a participant!) and dance the night away to live music.

Get your dancing fix at the first night of dancing at the Friday Night After Hours (okay, so it is technically Saturday morning). Top dj's from around the world will be featured.

Featuring: The Solomon Douglas Swingtet

Located on the UW campus, the HUB Ballroom is just a couple of buildings down from Kane Hall. So, after the Jump Session Show, walk over to the HUB for a fun-filled evening of dancing. The HUB Ballroom is a very large space with a fabulous dance floor. Enjoy watching the Jack & Jill Finals and the Lindy Hop Couples Prelims (or be a participant!) and dance the night away to live music.

Still not tired? Dance until the wee hours of the morning at the Saturday Night After Hours (okay, so it is technically Sunday morning). Top dj's from around the world will be featured.

Featuring: DJ Peter Strom

Meet and socialize with your fellow campers at this Soulful Social on the Naval Armory Pier as the sun sets over Lake Union. There will be complimentary snacks and Soul music to set the mood! Peter Strom will be djing the social, so get ready for a real party!

Featuring: Jonathan Stout and his Campus Five

After the Soulful Social, dance the night away in the spacious Naval Armory with a maritime flare. There will be plenty of room to dance to our live music. The Lindy Hop Couples Finals competition will be an event not to be missed!

Get your dancing fix at the Sunday Night After Hours (okay, so it is technically Monday morning). Top dj's from around the world will be featured and the Charleston Challenge will be this night.

Celebrate the end of an amazing weekend and say good bye to all of your friends at the Wrap Party at Pravda Studios. We'll be djing some fun tunes if you care to dance and displaying pictures from the weekend.

Arriving early or staying late? Make a long swing vacation out of this event! Seattle has a great swing scene with regular swing nights before and after the Camp Jitterbug dances. Sightsee during the day and dance at night!

On Wednesday, May 21, The Century Ballrooms offers a night of dancing for 21+. They are located at 915 E. Pine, 2nd floor (Capitol Hill). Dancing starts at 9:30pm, cost: $5!

On Thursday, May 22, catch an ALL AGES dance at the Russian Center, 704 19th Ave. East (backside of Capitol Hill). Dancing starts at 8:30pm, cost: $5

On Monday, May 26, there will be an ALL AGES swing dance at Sonny Newman's Dance Hall, 201 N. 85th Street (Greenwood). Dancing starts at 8:30pm, cost: $5/$3 for SSC members
