We have someone in charge of housing to help all of our out of towner campers find a host to stay with. Housing fills up quickly and is NOT GUARANTEED. We do this as a favor and try our best to accommodate all of those who can't afford to stay at a hotel. We try to reserve this for those who truly need it.
If you would like to stay with a host, or if you would like to host an out of towner, please email Max at housing@campjitterbug.com with the information listed below. We are happy to help, but we do not guarantee housing! The earlier you put your request in, the more likely you will get matched up with someone. This service is offered to campers only.
If you're a GUEST:
E-mail Max with the following information:
. Full Name (odds are, I'm going to get at least two steves or two Jessicas)
. Name(s) of any people coming with you (basically, how big is your group) and their names
. Number of guys/girls in your group or any gender issues you have (e.g. want to stay with a girl, guy, etc)
. Do you have any pet allergies?
. Do you smoke/have problems staying with a smoker?
. Will you have your own car here?
. Early Bird or Night Owl?
UPDATE!! Great news, Seattle has just added a wonderful light rail for transportation from SeaTac airport to downtown Seattle. This is the cheapest and most convenient way to get to Seattle from the airport. Please visit this link for more detailed info http://www.portseattle.org/seatac/ground/rail.shtml
"TRANSPORTATION FROM THE AIRPORT VIA SEATTLE'S NEW LINK LIGHT RAIL.
Seattle's Sound Transit Link Light Rail is a new rapid transit system serving the Greater Seattle Area. The light rail will transport campers to and from downtown Seattle and SeaTac Airport. From downtown Seattle it is only a short walk north to Capitol Hill, where the majority of Camp Jitterbug's events are taking place.
The light rail runs as early as 5:00am and as late as 1:00am, providing transportation every 10-15 minutes. The airport's light rail station is a short four minute walk from the airport terminal that should be labeled with signs. The fare is a maximu $2.50 depending on the time for the ride from SeaTac to downtown Seattle.
